It seems like the heat will continue this weekend. Yesterday, in Rome, it exceeded 40 degrees; this morning, it was the same. I went for a 5-mile jog in Villa Borghese at 8 am, and it was already 30 degrees. It was pleasant, though. It’s so good to see that many Italians have embraced some healthy habits and enjoy them. I have seen fit people of all ages. I even saw an old school friend; they used to call us Stanlio and Ollio because he was very skinny and I was a baby elephant. Anyway, home at last and I got to prepare dinner. I have some friends from the States coming over, and I want to impress them. Catch you later, guys; I must update my diary, too. The kind of information I write there is too personal to report here, LOL!
