home sweet home

I went home today for the first time since Christmas last year.

I met my two brothers, their wives, kids, parents, and grandmother. It was nice to be at home again. My father has “forgiven” me for being gay, while my mother never was upset or disappointed. One of my sisters-in-law is a bit of a bitch, and she cracked some jokes about gay people. I laughed at the joke more than anyone else and told her I would have told the joke at the ARCI gay meeting next week.

Luigi, don’t thank me for the idea of going to Thailand; unfortunately, I won’t be able to. I am sure you will enjoy it. I sent you my friend’s email address and passed her yours. Enjoy it!

Anyhow, I will leave Naples on Wednesday morning and return home and have to think of what to do next.

Off I go, out with some friends. I will get drunk tonight!
