The Day After
Guys, I missed work this morning again because I cannot concentrate. On the one hand, I got Sonya pushing me to marry her and start a family; on the other hand, this Simona girl is stuck in my brain. Let’s go back a bit to explain the situation. A few years ago, my mother was admitted to this hospital where terminally ill people are cared for. Let’s be frank, it is not a place where everyone can leave his dear ones or unwanted ones, this is a very expensive place where those with a bit of money prove to be nice to those who are a problem. Look, I am bloody cynical, but I cannot stand those who, behind the interest of a mother or a father or a grandmother, hide him or themselves, saying that it is for the good of their loved ones. So, back to the story. My mother was ill, and my father, a very rich guy to which I owe anything from my job to my loft, to my underpants, to my being a spoiled brat (according to Sonya), rarely used to go to visit her because of his mysterious trips around the world all for business and all for the interest of the family. I am not so different from him, and sometimes I hate him for this. So, during one of my visits, I met Sonya, who had lost her mother recently and was now volunteering. She took my mother at heart and, in the beginning, I thought she had a sort of economic interest, but when I found out that she knew that my mother was just a commoner and not someone from the rich Roman upper class, things started changing, and I began to ask her out. She told me that her father pushed her to become an architect, but she never liked it, so she tried to become an interior designer, the thing that she loved. When her mother got sick, she started finding her real path: helping others. Her father never liked it until he decided not to bother anymore in trying to get the daughter back into the world of money and glamour. A few months after we dated her father, a great man, not like my father, confided to me that he was one of the main supporters of the Non-profit organisation the daughter volunteered for and that he understood that if one day, his daughter would hate him, it would have been well deserved.
Sonya will never hate anyone. Hate is a word not in her dictionary. So, now you know a bit about us and how we met. As you know, I forgot about their birthday yesterday, so I went out and bought her a diamond ring, yesterday evening she thought it was an engagement ring. Jeez! How stupid of me! I should have thought about it. I told her that it was not time to get married yet as I still had a long way to go in my career and that one day, I could afford to keep a family. Well, you guys try to tell this to someone who doesn’t give a shot about money, and you will see the reaction you get. It was a disaster. She accused me of being a selfish bastard, someone who cares only about enjoyment and runs from responsibilities and a few more things and that her main fault was to have fallen for a playboy. I must admit that she is right about everything, but I love being the way I am and hate work and responsibilities. I got the worst of my dad and mum… She left me with the ring and the bill to pay at the restaurant.
On the way back, I called Romano, but he did not answer. I just wanted to confirm that I would have loved to attend the Pilates classes with Simona. I did this this morning, I called directly the gym and booked me in for the lessons run by Simona. I informed Flavio, and he confirmed that he would have loved to join, too, but he had problems with his work and would have come occasionally when possible. Tonight I will see him for dinner and get abused, as usually happen, by this smart, intelligent, well-behaved, educated son of a bitch. It was too early to go to sleep, so I called a friend, one of those that can suck your cock better than a man does. She wouldn’t leave me alone for a while, and we had a long session while I was thinking to come, every single time, inside Simona or all over her body. I believe that sex last night was the best. This morning, I missed the alarm, and when I woke up, my friend was gone, so 500 euros were lost in my wallet.
