Italy and homosexuality today.

I cannot hide that I am getting more and more worried about being openly gay in public. Last night, I was out with a friend, and I noticed that some guys next to our table were initially trying to catch our eye. Still, when they realised that we were not too interested in males, they started laughing and cracking every sort of heavy joke about lesbians and making sure we would hear their comments.

I wonder why one has to be afraid of behaving as one feels. I am not the kind of woman who kisses her partner in the street, but I like walking with my friends. When I was a child, it was pretty normal to do so, but nowadays, it’s all associated with gayety.

Mario called me this afternoon and told me that he wants to talk to me about something important. I really don’t know what it is all about, but I told him that I am busy this week packing and moving. He seemed surprised. Anyway, I will talk to him sometime this week. The heat doesn’t seem to stop, and now it’s past midnight, and I cannot sleep.

Heat, Heat ;) Stress does not give me any break tonight. Sleep well
